About me

I have been singing for most of my life and performed in a wide range of genres including musical theatre, cabaret, rock and pop. I am also a very experienced teacher having been a BHS qualified riding instructor before turning to vocal coaching fulltime. As a natural teacher it was inevitable that I would combine my two passions of sharing knowledge and singing as a vocal coach.

I am proud to have gained a distinction with The Voice College (formerly VIDLA): one of the UK's few accredited contemporary vocal training establishments and have also completed the lastest BAST training course. As such I am completely up to date with the latest vocal science and research.

Recently, I fronted my own 5 piece blues band called Miss Ruby and the Roadhouse Blues Band playing both originals and covers.

My clients range from aspiring teenage singers ready to move to the next level to established performers who need to improve their stamina and technique. You can read just some of my success stories on the testimonials page.

I operate at studios and performance spaces across Portland, Weymouth and Dorchester.

It's important to practice what you preach and so naturally I sing in a band. More specifically it's Miss Ruby's Roadhouse Blues Band which I formed in 2017. We're a six piece originals blues band playing our own songs plus blues covers.
